Add to that the fact there may be multiple
"payers", e.g., if you were involved in an accident and Insurance is involved, the payer may be
your Insurance Company or
the other driver's Insurance Company. If there was damage prior to the accident, you might be willing to
pay for that repair, out-of-pocket while we repair damages caused by the accident. You might need a
rental paid for by your Insurance Company, the other driver's Insurance Company, etc. -- Whew!
In addition, in cases of an accident,
Do you want to trust just anybody with all this?
That's why your Insurance Company might recommend an Auto Body / Collision Repair Facility that's
"...on their list". While this might be perceived as protecting your interests (and there are
unscrupulous players in our industry), don't forget that the Insurance Company is protecting their own
interests (COST vs. Quality).
Did you know that Insurance Companies may write Estimates that specify for
"Aftermarket" parts (vs. quality parts from the Original Equipment Manufacturer)?
Did you know you
have the right to have your vehicle restored to its pre-accident condition, i.e., all the parts and
procedures necessary to restore your vehicle to its pre-accident condition -- and for late model vehicles,
that means parts from the Original Equipment Manufacturer, or you are entitled to be compensated for the
"diminished value" of your vehicle?
Did you know that you have
the right to choose your Repair Shop and that if your Insurance Company pushes you towards a Auto Body / Collision
Repair Facility "..on their list" that they are breaking the law?
The purpose of this site is to guide you through
this maze, using credible, third-parties sources of information. In addition, with the advent of the
"Internet", and all that it entails, some consumers expect higher degrees of service, e.g.,
"online" scheduling, authorization, and status. We hope to bring you all that and more!
Based on Feedback,
we hear some folks use the site based on it's Links alone, i.e.,
they start "surfing" for car information primarily from our Links
Section.
There
are a number of ways to tour our site: you might start with the "Site Map"
to get an overview, or use the left-side navigation to go directly to a topic(s) that interest you,
click on an internal link, etc. Don't forget, if you still have a question, concern, or comment,
please feel free to "Contact Us" at anytime.
While we hope you will choose us for your next
repair (and it is your right to choose), we offer this site, and all it's information even if you do
choose another shop. We know / hope that the more you know what to expect regarding the Auto Body / Collision
Repair Process, the more you'll realize that Executive Auto Body is your best choice.
