Executive Auto Body, Inc. was founded in March, 1986 and was a result of frustrations its two founders experienced working for other
Auto Body / Collision Repair Shops. Specifically,
rather than focusing on what was required to restore a vehicle to pre-accident condition, Estimates
were written to appeal to financial and insurance interests. The resultant repair often required
multiple comebacks, or worse, the customer was unknowingly operating an unsafe vehicle. However, when an
executive of the organization, or one of their
associates required auto body / collision repair services, they were given the "Executive Treatment";
Estimates were written using only quality OEM parts, and included all operations and materials required to restore
the vehicle to its pre-accident condition. The only comebacks for these select few were to offer
praise for a job well done.

Working for these organizations, it quickly became apparent that if the focus could
shift from financial and insurance interests back to the consumer, customer satisfaction would be
constant. Furthermore, since by law consumers are allowed to take their vehicle to the Auto Body / Collision Repair
Shop of their choice (see "Steering Laws"), why be forced
to adhere to the financial interests of Insurance Companies and operate the business under a
Direct-car Repair Process (DRP) paradigm -- see "Preferred Body Shops"
and learn why we choose not to be "on the list", and why you "have the right to
choose".
While it might take some time to get the word
out, i.e., consumers are by law entitled to have their vehicle restored to its pre-accident condition
(see "Your Rights Under Law") to establish a loyal customer following, the business could
thrive on referrals -- and it was with these very principles that Executive Auto Body, Inc. was
founded and continues to operate to this day.

State Project With Industry, Inc. (FSPWI) incorporated in 1983 with Executive Leadership from the E.
I. du Pont de Nemours and Company, Inc. and Wilmington
Trust Corporation to work with Delaware's business community to create and expand career
opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
FSPWI supplies a centralized source of
qualified, prescreened applicants for specific jobs. After placement we follow along for a
minimum of three months to ensure all the participants are satisfied. Our accomplishments
include the placement of 1,950 Delawareans with disabilities who are now off governmental
subsidies and currently earn salaries up to $55,000 annually.
